WHERE IT BEGAN

I began photographing as a child, in black and white,

in a place where colour was rare. My father used to say, “Use aperture 11, and always make sure there is something in the foreground.” His words stayed with me, though over time I found my own ways of

seeing and expressing what I feel.

I spent countless hours in the darkroom, where I watched images emerge slowly from light and time.

That sense of presence has never left me. Even now, in the digital world, a printed photograph brings me

back to where it all began.

My camera has remained an integral part of my life. Wherever I go, across landscapes or through cities, it is always with me, capturing how I see the world.
