HOW EVERYTHING STARTED
​
I have been doing photography since I was a child.
At first it was only black and white photography because I grew up in Eastern Germany where colored pictures were a rarity. My father used to say to me: "Try to take pictures with an aperture of 11 and always make sure that there is something going on in the foreground. This makes your pictures more interesting."
I have followed those rules since.
Other tips and tricks of photography I have learned from my friend Wolfgang Schumacher.
Ever since my Camera has been an integral part of my life and wherever I go it follows. No matter the cultures, continents or communities: it has and will always accompany me.
